The first of our social enterprises opened in early November 2013.
The Nest, the first of our Social Enterprises opened in early November 2013. It can be found in the Garden of St John’s Cathedral in Central and currently employs 6 people with learning disabilities on a part time basis.
Funded by Operation Santa Claus and with the help and support of the following, we were able to satisfy our dream of enabling our students to showcase their abilities to the local community and beyond.
David S K Au & Associates Limited, Wing Hing Construction & Hypsos for the structural design, planning, marketing and branding, St John’s Cathedral for letting us be there, Uncle Russ & Pacific Coffee for their help with training and advice, Clifford Chance for funding a staff training manual and Speak for assisting us with a customer service training program.
The food and beverages sold at The Nest are sourced locally from Eat My Cakes, Classified, CENG etc. Although simple, it is of a high standard and sold at very competitive rates. For a quick bite in the serene surrounding of the Catheral, or to take back to the office, The Nest is the place to go.
The Nest is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on Saturday & 8am to 6pm on Sunday.
Our third social enterprise, The Nest opened in October 2017, at and with the great support of St Andrew's Church, Jordan, Kowloon.
